Nestle’s latest “100 Years” ad, with an APO song as the jingle. It went straight to my sappy Pinoy heart. 

Same here…

One of the things that can make my eyes well-up (in a good way) would be witnessing an old couple’s affection for each other. It gives hope that true and lasting love really does exist.

Gotta admit however, that this TVC in particular, got me feeling a little sad (regret even, for a good minute) because one of the Nestle accounts was what I passed up in order to be here. It would have been the chance of a lifetime to work for Publicis Manila. I’ve always loved the way their TVCs for Nestle always tugged the heartstrings (like one of my former Art Directors, Jorge, once said). ;)

Fortunately, I still have so much hope and inspiration for what the future holds. Like this ad shows, time has a way of bringing out the best things in life. We simply have to pray, wait and see. :)
